The language assistant

This year we have a language assistant in the school. Her name’s Steph. She comes from London and she’s helping us in the English lessons.
She works with small groups from 3rd to 6th level in order to reinforce the speaking.

Last February, Steph's family visited our school and came into the 3rd A classroom. We could meet her dad: Alastair, her mum: Gayner and two of her sisters: Beth (8 years old) and Rachel (14 years old).

We were talking a lot!!

Learning English through Music

Hello!!

During this school year, English and Music teachers cooperate together in order to learn some famous songs.
We participate with these songs in different festivals at school:

• Christmas Festival:

3rd: "Santa Claus is coming to town". Music by Fred Coots.

4th: "Last Christmas", by George Michael.

5th: "Happy Christmas", by Yoko Ono and John Lennon.

• Cultural Week Festival:

3rd: "Imagine", by John Lennon.

4th: "Mamma Mia", by Abba.

5th: "Every breath you take", by Police.

6th: "Viva la vida", by Coldplay.

• Primary-Secondary English Festival:

We also collaborate with the different schools and institute in our area. 6th level children participate in this festival with the song "Viva la vida", by Coldplay.
